Meet The Coaches
Expert level coaches with elite playing experience
Ashton Turner
My playing highlights include a silver medal in the Youth Olympics, captaining England and GB&I and 2 appearances in The Open where I made the cut in 2019 at Royal Portrush.
When it comes to coaching, I have a passion for seeing my clients improve and work towards maximising their full potential whilst armouring them with the knowledge required to understand their tendencies allowing them to self-diagnose effectively when away from a coaching environment.
Gareth Davies
I turned professional in 2001 and competed worldwide on the European Tour, European Challenge Tour, Asian Tour and Sunshine Tour. During my career I played with—and on occasion beat—some of the world’s best players, including five Major champions and more than 20 Ryder Cup players. I won twice on the European Challenge Tour in 2004 and 2005, earning promotion to the European Tour in 2006 alongside players such as Martin Kaymer, Alex Noren, Álvaro Quirós and Rafa Cabrera Bello.
Throughout my playing career I worked with some of the game’s leading coaches, most notably Pete Cowen and former England Head Coach Graham Walker.
In 2016, after stepping away from full-time competition to focus on coaching (while still competing at local and national level), I completed my PGA qualifications. During this time I received both regional and national recognition, including receiving the Major John Bywaters Trophy for leading rookie assistant. I believe it is the duty of every coach to continually develop knowledge, with the aim of making the game as simple and effective as possible for my players.
